Hi all,
Just got back from a short trip to a local park now that campsites are available! It has been warm in Phoenix, but the mornings and evenings are spectacular. I spread my sleeping bag out on top of the picnic table last night and watched Mother Nature's show of stars. It is like being at the planetarium. Were even a couple of shooting stars! We are in a burn ban now, so, sadly, no campfire last night. I got up early and did a nice hike. If anyone is passing through, this is a great park with water and electric hookups, dump station available, spotless restrooms and showers too. Fees are $20 a night. Here are a few pics from my adventure. Chris.

This is a great park and location if ur visiting Phoenix. We tried it first week of April, as it is about 2 miles from our house as the crow flies.

It is really an October thru March park and is off-season now due to the heat. The park is pretty easy to get into from Oct till mid January and then there are loads of FT's that come every year and it is nearly impossible to get in Feb and March.

14 day stay limit and no res.
As Chris says above, this is one you want on your list to try.
