More before and after Pics

Wanted to change out my old utility covers on my trillium. Mold had rooted deep into the faded plastic and could not be polished out.
I could still located the same covers for WATER ELECTRICAL and DRAIN locally but only in polar white not the orig. antique white. I spray painted the covers (after scuff sanding the gloss off the plastic) and let them dry for a few days.
Getting the old covers off involved more than just drilling out the rivets they were glued in pretty good. I used a recip. saw to cut out the covers in sections matching the curves.
A little bit of butyl caulk and a few rivets and we were back in business.

Good stuff.

For what it's worth, I managed to clean all of mine (which were in worse shape) using a bathroom cleaner with bleach and letting it soak a bit. Then rinse it all off, put on a bit of wax, and bingo.

Yours looks pretty darn amazing, though.

I was also going to mention that I removed and repainted my fridge & stove vents with the same Tremclad "Recreational White" spraypaint. Takes a while to dry but it was a pretty good off the shelf match for my (not grape green) '78 Trillium after I restored the finish.
