Anyone know where I can get 2 18x24" windows for a 1983 13' Scamp?
Raya L.
Randy,

If your Scamp has the square cornered windows, then it will probably be a challenge to find them new.

If you have the radius-cornered windows (probably not in 1983, I realize), Scamp sells them for about $128 plus shipping/packing. For about $20 or so more, you can get a radius-cornered jalousie window of the same size.

http://shop.scamptrailers.com/ (opens directly to parts store)

Some people have filled in the corners of the rough opening for the square windows in order to be able to use the radius-cornered ones.

My first thought when I was trailer-musing, early on, was "Oh, if one got larger windows, you could put radius-cornered ones in without filling the corners in." But of course I quickly realized that you would run into cabinetry width-wise, and curvature height-wise.

I think the windows can often be rebuilt or repaired, if you still have the originals.

Thanks! The ones I have have a few broken pieces. They are the old square type. All of the hinges are broken off.

Then I would guess you'd want to either find some other (old) square ones for sale (people sometimes take them out in favor of the radius-cornered ones for a more "modern" look), or rebuild the ones you have.

I've seen a few places that have parts for these windows, although I don't have them all committed to memory. I think your windows might be Hehr brand, but I'm not sure. There are some links in the sidebar (resources ---> helpful links) to the left.

You might try these for starters:

Interstate metals

I've found that if you Google there are some Airstream restoration sites (wherein an individual documents a rebuild) that show same or similar awning windows being repaired or restored.

Kevin61 from here has a video showing him completely disassembling a Berdick window (similar window that came in some Bolers).

If you do rebuild or repair, and take some photos along the way, I'm sure many here would find it very helpful.
