Potti Stand

Here is a handy little addition to the Trillium 1300. The Porta-Potti was
just a bit low for comfort. Also, it was inconvenient to pull out. The solution:
a wooden box/potti stand. Used old scraps of 3/4" ply, drywall screws, and sealer.

nice.. sliding my portapot in my 13 scratched the floor. This is better than the towel I put under it.

Hi, Gina. Sliding the box might scratch, too. For your setup I might look for a couple of little wheels
to screw to sides of drawer on back so you could wheel out without sliding the box? Another idea
would be to stick something on the bottom that would not mar the floor. Maybe some of that
self stick Velcro strip... the side without the hooks? Larry H

Larry, thanks, but I don't have the 13 or the porta pot anymore. The towel worked fine and did not raise it up so much that it wouldn't go under the bench.

Me, I am short.. no problem with height :-P

I have complained about how low the porta potty sits.
Good idea and I think it will work in the space we store the potty.

Neat solution.
In my case, I just screwed two two by fours to a sized piece of half inch plywood. Works fine but have to stow the base behind the PP and I noticed clearance light wires back there. Will try getting some one by four and nesting the PP in it.

I have the dinette down as a permanent bed and made a tray the size of the foot well to hold things. One of the items stored there is the porta potty. I made a brace with 3 pieces of wood and about 4 "L" brackets with stores around the porta potty and is the height of the step up.

The brace is placed on the floor then the tray pulled out to access anything stored on the tray keeping it from tilting, including the porta potty. The porta potty is now at a very usable height and I don't have to lift it, just slide it in and out.

I measured the height of the toilet in the bathroom, then the height of the porta-potty & built a box for it to sit on that makes it the same height as the toilet. The part of the box that the potty sits on is slightly lower than the edges of the box to keep the potty from slipping off during "landing or takeoff." I also attached a TP holder to the side to make that handy.
