September 23, 24,& 25 [Wed,Thu,Fri] at Hickory Hollow Camp Ground.
Conveniently located just east of the junction of I-39 & I-80 in
North Central Illinois.
Enjoy the many attractions in the area, Explore the beautiful parks
or I&M Canal Corridor, with JC Whitney and plenty of shopping nearby.
Relax at the campground and enjoy good conversation around the campfire
or go to nearby Utica and the park to enjoy the trolley ride, the Buffet
at beautiful Starved Rock Lodge, or even take a Scenic Cruise on the
Illinois River aboard the "Belle of the Rock"

Great idea, Floyd! Too bad this is during the week, though. My wife and I still have to work/teach those days. It would have been fun to come on down from Oak Park with our UHaul!

Several folks, including us, are planning to stay Saturday night as well so come on down for Friday&Sat night. There will still be plenty to see and do! including the Corn fest In Morris on Sunday with free parking for your rig at my place so that you can enjoy the parade and a porkchop on a stick!

Sounds fun! We'll see if we can arrange our schedules to get it a go. Thanks for the invitation!

Maybe we can come for at least a few hours on Saturday, assuming our company isn't coming that weekend. When do you think would be a good time on Saturday to visit?

Another ScampCamp has come and gone! A good time was had by all who attended , with plenty of activities and time to relax around the campfire !
There was food, fun and entertainment! Thanks to everyone who came and contributed... from Lyndy's popcorn to Doris' card bingo and a Special thanks to Ron Walker who graced our evenings with the sounds of his talented hands on the keyboard !
