We are in Beaubassin municipal campground in Bonaventure [+48° 2' 19.12", -65° 28' 58.21"] on the Chaleur Bay in Gaspésie Québec Canada for the first time. It is a very nice place, on one of the warmest beach of the northern east coast. As we are in a Trillium 1976, we can live with the strong winds of the windy sea days. The campground is large, quiet and clean. There are sections for tents and tent-tralers (with 1 ot 2 ou 3 services). There is a free wifi.
The ebach is nice and there is a marina beside. Also we have made a long kayak trip on the Bonaventure river (salmon river!) with a local provider (Cime Aventures). We visited a fish fossils provincial museum in Miguasha (1 hour) and appreciate it.
The Percé< rock is at about 1h30 from here.

We met Mr and Mrs Gaudin of Mont-Louis in the campground (picture 1). Mr Gaudin is the owner of a Trillium 1977 he bought new in 1977! I also scan his original instructions booklet and put it on the web. http://www.marcbarriere.com/?page_id=1611

Marc: Thank you for posting the RV park, etc. information. The wife and I had planned to be in Bonaventure this past June. Cancelled, due to the additional mileage/time to incorporate into our three week vacation. I have relatives residing in Bonaventure, Carleton and Maria. Is the RV park available with full hookups? What is your opinion of safety issues? Any information you can provide will be welcome. I have a PM available. Thanks again for the posting.

Full hookup: yes
There are 3 services or 2 or 1
safety: no problem for me. There is a gate with chip card for cars. There are a guard for the night. Also there are a certain number of seasonners.
