Hey all..finally decided to spring for the Casita 17 Spirit Deluxe.

Trailer weighs 2480 dry.

I just purchased a very low mileage GMC Crew Cab SLE Z71 with 5.3L engine with tow package.

I'll def add a weight distribution hitch.

Does anyone here know if I aught to add airbags to the rear springs for stability etc?

with the weight distribution hitch, air bags wont be needed

Thats what I was thinking since the vehicle weighs more then twice what the trailer does.

love the air lifts in my Silverado! also handy for load leveling without the trailer.
