Full Version: 1978 13' Scamp For Sale
FiberglassRV > For Sale > Sold Archives

We bought this camper 3 months ago to explore the Southwest over the summer. Now that we're back in Philadelphia, we just don't have anywhere to store it. It's a great little camper and we will be sad to see it go. It was our first time RVing it and we couldn't have been happier with it. The camper was refurbished right before we bought it. We got it from a guy who knows everything there is to know about fiberglass campers. (He's probably on this forum, Hi Floyd!) This was his 10th refurb. He put all his years of experience into customizing it. Everything is pretty much new except the shell. His complete list is below, but the highlights are:

Air Conditioning
Mini Fridge
Gas stove
Sink
Front dinette
Queen Size bed

The big difference between our Scamp and others is the dinette and the bed do not fold down. They are permanent. The Queen size bed is also larger than what comes in most Scamps with the fold down bed/couch combo which we thought was much more comfortable and a big improvement.

The size is perfect for a couple and maybe a small child. It's a small camper, but there's plenty of room to sit at the dinette or lounge on the bed. It's also great to be able to cook in it and have AC. It's also super light and easy to tow. We have the title registered in PA

It was a really fun way to explore the country in this little camper. Hopefully someone will enjoy it as much as we did.

Asking Price $3950.

Hi Mike,

Sounds like you had a great trip in the Scamp. Neat!

While I'm not in the market for a camper right now, I wonder if you have any pictures of the queen-sized bed? I'm sure that will be a draw for people, and I'm probably not the only one who would like to see it 53.gif How did you get around the closet next to the door? Does the bed go lengthwise?

I like the sink/stove combo unit.
