I want to have/attend a Scamp/FiberglassRV Rally here on the Southeast Coast, preferably NC. Is there one already? If so I didn't see it on the Rally map.
Any one out there from the NC area? Any suggestions for a Rally site?
Thanks!

And that's all it takes! Pick a place, pick a date, provide reservation (if) information and post enthusiastically. You'd be surprised how quickly something picks up and folks want to join in the fun .... ask me how I know

Eric,
Besides campgrounds on the outer banks, there a a couple of state forest campgrounds on the coast. One, Cedar Point, is near Swansboro and is full service, wooded and usually uncrowded. There is a lot to do around there.
(folks, this is kind of a plant, as Eric and I met yesterday and talked about a rally in NC. I just got a Scamp 16 and Eric was so kind as to come over and give me tips.) I live in Cary, NC. About the middle of the state.

There are "Casita and Friends" rallies every June (in Rutherfordton, NC) and February (at Myrtle Beach). As the name implies, we welcome everyone, regardless of the type of camper they have. Most are Casitas and other fiberglass models like Scamp and Bigfoot. We list them on this forum and the Casita Club forum, but I don't think they have ever been on the map. If you'll pm me with your email address, we'll put you on our mailing list. Or just watch the "get-together" forums. Next one is Myrtle Beach in February, usually around the Presidents Day holiday weekend. We usually have participants from as far away as Texas, Maryland and Florida. The diversity of people and trailers makes it a lot of fun.
