Hi I have a 1984 13ft Burro and would like to add a awning, anyone know where I can get one, and what kind to get? Also need a new refrig.

Hi Pamela,

Many of our members have either Shademaker or Trimline awnings bag awnings. I bought my Shademaker from http://www.interwestsports.com/ a few years ago. These bag awnings require that you have or install an awning rail on the door side of your trailer.

I made one but at those prices, I may order one with a bag. great deal!

I bought a used 8X10 awning that was made for a 17 ft trailer from someone who had two. I then got hold of a screenroom addition for a "First-up" and am in the process of putting them together. A little cutting and a bit of sewing and i think that it'll work just fine.

The biggest problem I've read about when adding an awning to a Burro... is the double-hull construction of the body. Next to impossible to get to the backside, unless you cut through the inside of the trailer. Maybe someone who's actually done it on a double-hull trailer can answer up?
