Travel Side Mounted Solar Panel

I have been searching without success for a posting in one of the threads discussing mounting solar panels. One posting included pictures and a description of mounting panels over the travel side window. When being used as a solar panel, it also acted as an awning for the window. The panel folded down and locked in place for travel. I believe there was also a design for the rear window. I plan to add a second panel and like the dual purpose possibilities of the side window mount.

Anyone out there remember where or who made that posting? Of course I could just muddle through the setup as I did a number of years ago with the first panel but any leads would be appreciated.

Edit for spelling error in heading. "dis" should be "did" "Sorry about that", said Max

Well Gina D. mounted one to the front gravel guard... which the same setup could be used on the back window. Notice the topic is called: Rock Guard mounted solar panel banana.gif
