So with all this rain we've been having, I have been working on fixing up a few mods on the inside of our trailer. I have added a front bunk flip up "table" top and a flip up counter top:

also covered the not so nice carpeting with some of that roll out plastic runner,

that I plan to cover with a 2x3 oriental style rug, for comfort.

I wanted a surface I could easily clean, and the carpet adds to the insulation so I didn't want to remove it. I figured this would be an easy solution, that can be easily removed if needed.
next in line is the upper cabinet and awning installation... come on sunny weather!!

Go Girl! I just started on Pearl and plan to add 3 tables like yours.

Whew! I got the second set of LED brake lights installed today, glued them in the bottom corners of the back window (on the inside). Connected the wiring, and changed the 4 prong pigtail to a 5 prong so we can make the running lights work. Steadily moving along! I just love our trailer, still don't have a name for her yet. I'm sure that will come in good time.

April, where did you get the single support arm for the counter extension. The ones I had were too strong for the extension and wouldn't work.

There are actually 2 supports under the counter extension, I guess only one is visible in the photo. I found them on line after googling "folding shelf bracket" and hitting the shopping feature.

We installed the awning rail and awning today I hope we can keep this momentum up! Next is the upper cabinets

Got the screen room basically fitted around the new awning this morning. Seems to work well, not bad for $9.99 + shipping!! I am using the discounted ez up screen that I found on line last year, a portion has been removed to make what was my old screen door, till the zipper broke, then I used more of the excess screen to fill in the panels of the new screen door.

April, love what you are doing and the pop-up tables are a great idea. I too have put the plastic down and it works great. We call our little trailer Lucky as we were very lucky to find it and bought it from and man named Lucky.

Yes, it's a 7' Trimline, and I sure am glad I didn't go for the 8', it would have been way too long. Our awning rail sticks up about 3" on both ends, due to the curve of the body.

So far, I have measured 14in from the existing vent, then traced the square using the inside of the insert, cut the ensolite with a sharp blade, and peeled it back. I plan to save it for any patch work we might need to do in the future.

Before we cut the hole, we plan to get the wood for the spacer, build it and seal it up with fiberglass resin. We want to have everything ready to install before we make any cuts. I will post photos as we get more work done.

Last night I added a small shelf with a suspended wire basket that slides in and out, which is held in place with a strong magnet (the basket not the shelf), and a paper towel holder on the right of the upper cabinet . Also put in this little wire, catch all shelf on the side of the closet, above the bed/dinette. Little by little... we are still working on getting the parts together to build the spacer for the 2 way fan.

We got the 2 way, variable speed roof fan installed and it works great! I had to use my cell phone to get the pictures, so they are a little blurry.

and to top things off, our 3 way norcold 1.7 cu fridge showed up tonight! I know what we are doing this week.

As we were cutting a larger vent hole for the new 3 way fridge, I noticed the outline of the old Scamp logo under the black paint, so it is definitely a scamp. I don't know why I didn't see it sooner. I am considering trying to revive it, in a different paint color. We'll see if I find the time and patience to do it.
