We would like to replace the icebox in our 13' Scamp with a larger fridge. Found one to our liking but need to cut up about 6" or so thus removing the drawer. Will this make the countertop/stove area weak? There seems to be a thick fiberglass area below the drawer that will need to come off. Any suggestions or has anyone done this?
Thanks
Karen

This mod is pretty common and should be no problem , be aware of the location of the bottom of the stove though.
You can of course trim out the opening with oak or aluminum to stiffen it and make it more finished and attractive.

Thanks so much.
