If you wanted to camp by a nice relaxing lake, somewhere fairly close to Branson, Missouri in early October, where would you go? Also, we love the Fall Festivals. It's something we really miss from Illinois.....about the only thing, actually.

Might even like to fish a bit.

Camping in Branson, MO

Mornin to you, Dear Lady,

We got's Cabin Fever and are "blue skying" about someplace we could go closer to here and still not overdue Shirley's ankle situation. Problem is, Branson's still about 12 hours from Aurora and we might as well go to California, eh?

We'll probably just go somewhere here in Colorado and take our chances with the weather. We did take a day-trip up to Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park yesterday and saw a lot of Elk and even saw a couple of big Bulls fighting and bellowing at each other. Colors were still great. I'll have to post a couple pictures this morning.
