Finally posting a mod I did in 04.
The pics pretty much tell it all.
To stop the wind from spoiling the shade
1) ensure the top hinge cannot come out
with the awning up, I just bent it closed a little.
and2) the rod must create a U shape around the
awning at the clamp.
