Finally finished the captain's gut and rebiuld! New sub floor due to rot from a broken front window and sitting for years. Then a honey oak laminate. Also did full decopage on inside and reinstalled the cabinets. Fresh roof with elastomeric rubber roof, three coats. Then a complete sand off of the gell coat and repaint. This is a real head turner at the parks. Thanks for all the great ideas and help to everyone in this forum.

I never seen a "Captain" before. Looks really good and can see why it would be a head turner. Great job on the re-build from what i can see in the picture. 94.gif

I love the windows on Captains. How does your awning attach?

The awning is from Dicks Sporting Goods and called tailgate gear. Its for suv. luggage racks so i just bent metal rod pieces to go into my drip edge and attached it to them.

Nice work on that front window! I have a Cadet and have been exploring options that would work well without adding weight or losing function. More fuel for thought, thanx.

Great Job and a beautiful trailer!

I have to say, though, I love the awning. It's lightweight, easily stow-able, not dangerous in a high wind if left up like the more rigid ones...do you know the measurements of the awning?

VERY cool trailer. Any inside photos?
