Got some good news, vision is ok. So here I am back again looking for a 13' RV. I would need to get financing, like everyone else; not sure where to get it or what to ask for. I live near Cleveland Ohio and don't want to drive too far to see it. Dave

Hi David. If you're a member of a credit union, that's a good place to start. Otherwise maybe a commercial bank. Typically lending institutions don't want to loan on an older trailer, so a personal loan may be needed. Besides, they'll look at NADA and may say whatever you're trying to purchase isn't worth it. You may be able to get a personal loan for far more than you need.

You should arrange for the financing prior to dedicated looking. Because Murphy's Law will prevail. If you find the perfect egg at the price you're willing to pay, the seller MAY sell to the first person with CASH while you're still waiting for loan approval.

Good luck on the egg hunt 53.gif

Hi, thank you for the advice. I am working on the personal loan thingy, but as you may have noticed the NAFTA book value is less than what the popular pricing is; which leaves me to thing that maybe I should look at buying a new one... Every so often though, someone has one of these for sale at what I feel is a reasonable price and admit that by the time I get around to contacting that person it is too late. They sell fast. I have never been in a hurry about anything and don't mind. Eventually I will have what I want instead of having to make compromises; and that will make it better for me. Dave
