The trim around my heater was kinda yucky looking so I made this bezel to pretty it up some. ALso, since no one smokes any more, I replaced the factory ash trays with folding cup holders. ----- Yes, I saved the ash trays for posterity---

I got a laugh out of the "factory" ash trays. Port and starboard, no less! Made me remember when airplanes had them.

Nice idea about the cup holders. In our VT, the bed is always set up, so we don't really have a need to replace the ashtrays on each side (we don't have a need to hold drinks in those locations). However, it's good to know we could do this. Any special tips for putting in the cup holders or removing the ashtrays?

To remove the ash trays, just press down on the "putting out " tab amd rotate downward. Then with the tray itself removed, remove thr two phillips head screws and pull the liner out.
First I mounted the cup holders with double sided tape, then made some wood strips long enough to span the hole horizontally. These have holes in them to match the holes in the cup holder. Small screws with elastic stop nuts hold the strip tightly to the cup holder with the fibergalass in between.
