Is there going to be an South Dakota event in 2010, if so would there be any interest in holding it a week after the Goose Island event.

Jim, as far as I know Pam mentioned doing it again. Can't say for sure since I haven't seen her around here since the rally. Though I was gone for a couple weeks after the rally so don't know for sure. Are you trying to plan something else as well? Cause some of us from Colorado were trying to work the Colorado Rally within a few weeks of the SD rally so people might be able to just rally around the country. I will send Pam a email and get her to see this post. Robin

My wife and I attended the gathering this year and enjoyed it immensely ! The facilities at Hart Ranch were really awesome ( although there are numerous other campgrounds available in the Black Hills that would be great too ). We do hope there will be a 2010 event and if so we would certainly attend ! Lee and Norma Senn

We are planing to hold our Rally the week after labor day at Goose Island campground near Lacrosse, we have previously put on 4 events at LanesBoro Mn and decided to move for a change of scenery. Some of the people that attended our event last year sugested we try to hold the events a week apart so people could make a 2 week vacation out of them.
I will be meeting with the county the week after new year to set the dates and set up the site reservation. when down there I will have my second meeting the the tourist bureau as they are interested in working with me.

Jim and Lee, I have sent an email to Pam, but haven't heard back from her. But to my knowledge she was going to do a 2010 Rally. Sorry I can't help further. Wait, I just had a Light bulb moment! I actually might have her phone number. ( I have a ton going on this week) but will look for it this weekend. Hopefully I can find it. Pam is owns a timeshare there, that is why she held it at Heart Ranch. But as Lee said, there are other campgrounds that would work as well. If someone is in the planning mood....................

I need to decide on what I'm doing for the next travel season and this SD gathering interests me.

If I'm going I need to block it on my calendar soon, that is before I decide on doing something else. September is generally a busy month for me, got folks to notify if I'm going to be gone. Decisions to make.
