My neighbor was mulching down the leaves in my neighbors yard with his lawn tractor. He hit a huge drift of leaves in a low spot. The leaves bunched up under the front of his tractor and POOF>>>FIRE!!!!

I happened to be outside working on my trailer, so I grabbed the extinguisher and ran over to help. He managed to back out the tractor and we got the leaves out from the tractor. We raked the burning leaves and watched while the leaves burned down.

He was lucky that the wind was not blowing too strong or he could have lost his new tractor. The muffler is in the front and there is a space for leaves to collect. Needless to say he only mulched a small swath ant any one time after that.

Just goes to show you how quick a fire can start.
