Who’d have thunk it? Last March 7, 2003, at the
Casita factory, Jay checked me out and hooked me up. Dick Morris took the ‘official’ picture and waved me good bye
. I was off in my brand new 17SD
Casita, and I went full timing.
Fast forward to December 3, 2005 – many thousands of miles later, I have been aboard for 1,000 nights, without interruption. After the first 500 days, it sorta became a goal. Even friends inviting me over at their Montana ranch, “hey, if you don’t mind, I like to sleep in my own bed”. They understood. Perhaps they rolled their eyes
.
I wonder, has anyone stayed aboard their egg for a longer time? Also, I reached age 72 on Halloween. Does that make me the Senior Grand Poobah of Casiteers? Oh well.
Understand Pete Dumbleton is long term as well. Any one else?
