13' Scamp Question

I read in one of the threads that at some point there was a fire at the Scamp factory and that they used surviving '16, cut down, to make a new '13 fiberglass mold. Does this mean the interior height of '13 Scamps prior to the fire were shorter? If so, could someone tell me the year as this is important to me as I look for a used one.

Thanks,
Bill

Hi: Bill K Jr...2006/07 was the fire at Scamp. Post fire 13'ers. have 2" more headroom. Prior to that fire, the P.O.'s of our Escape 5.0 had a 19' Scamp 5th. wh. on order. It couldn't be built so "Fate" caused them to order an Escape 5th. wh. to our good fortune!!!

Yes, shorter trailers prior to January 2006 fire. Taller trailers after June 2006.

More like to Escape's good fortune, considering the price difference.
