140 watt solar panel for $140

Wow, I paid this much for a 60 watt panel a year ago.

A $1.00 per watt is pretty good. The size leave a bit to be desired. Dimensions (inches): 59.00 x 26.50 x 1.25
Weight: 30 pounds

For me 140 Watts is bit overkill. I think my 65 Watt is almost too big. Bigger sometimes isn't better.

This is more like it. 60 Watts for $87.00 and a nice form factor, and weight.

There is an advantage to splitting the available amps/watts. I have 189W (in full sun) but that is between two panels. One panel is 125W the other, 64W.
When parked at home, I only have the smaller panel extended to keep the batteries topped off.

Two of the 140 Watt guys would cover the roof of the canopy or come close to it.

And you really believe you need that much for that little trillium?
I could probably do just as well with 45 Watts. The 65 Watts is a nice small bit of over kill, 189 Watts I could power at least 3 trailers with that.

Uhaul used a 5 Watt to keep the battery topped off.

Yeah, I use a bit more power than most. My fridge is an 85 quart Whynter. It uses 5A when running. I like to watch movies on my Naxa 14" HD. and I also have a powered antenna that uses a small converter. The main thing is to be weighed and measured not be found wanting - lol!

Thanks Mary! These installs go a lot easier if you're not afraid to make holes in your camper! The side one is the one I did first (live and learn). It's just attached with two door hinges. I cut an adjustable tent pole down to fit. I prop it up with the tent pole (that's still adjustable to go up and down with the sun).
The one in the back is the betterer install. It's on these hinges which have three different positions. Can't remember where I found them online but could re-find if someone wants.
