I just returned from a trip to the East/West Kootenays and saw this one along the road between Kimberly and Cranbrook.

Hi Kevin I know it says Boler But We had both trailers at are meet in Langley a 15 ft Boler and a 15 ft Vangaurd same except for Boler Logo on Vangaurd I was looking at a 15 ft Boler in Quenel BC it was a Boler but had a Vangaurd Metal decal on it from Winfield BC and I know at the time Neonex/Jimmy Pattison owned both Boler and Vangaurd in Winfield / now in NorthBattleford, at the same time hey if it is a Boler it is worth lots I told the guy not to sell it but I have searched and searched but no where can you find any material on a 15 ft Boler they do not excist and if they did they would be around as I have only seen one Boler yeh with Boler decals on it they dont even look real and one Vangaurd and then the one in Quenel Kevin you probably think I am nuts but a BOLER IS A BOLER AND ALL THE REST
OH WELL TO BAD GOOD COPIES Rick

Darn, my Boler 13 has a Neonex label on the side. And here I was thinking it was a "real" Boler just because it had the Boler name on it too and was made from the Boler molds...

If a Vanguard-made Boler isn't a Boler, then I shouldn't think a Neonex one would be either, nor one made by "Earlton Manufacturing," Triple E, Honey, [insert manufacturer name here]....

Wouldn't that make the only "real" Bolers the first 100 or so that were made before they started contracting out to other manufacturers?

Btw, I've seen photos of a few Boler 13's made at the Vanguard plant, and they look very similar to the 15. Same decals, etc. Granted some of the Vanguard details do differ (wooden cabinets, spray-insulation walls, taillight surrounds, big window on driver side). But it seems kind of harsh to declare it not real without knowing more, considering all the variations and the varied manufacturers that were typical for all Bolers, as far as I know.

Perhaps the next to last paragraph in this article can shed some light on the Boler/Vanguard connection:

Hi: All... When is a Boler not a trailer??? When are Nike's not shoes??? Is that Rolex really a watch??? If your Toyota is Mfg'd in Canada is it still a car???
Once Ray Olecko sold the rights to Mfg. Bolers to other producers he gave up control of the product. Then the stretching started and he felt that they changed his original idea enough he eventually sold the company. This happens with so many things. There is a world of difference between an entrepreneur and a business man!!! My $0.02 FWIW.
Alf S. North shore of Lake Erie p.s. Are Trilliums made by Escape not trailers???

Hi all I am not saying that a Boler is not a Boler Yeh a Trillium is a Trillium now owned buy an American company But there are lots of 15ft Trilliums and thousands of 13ft Trilliums also the same with Bolers lots of 13 ft and lots of 17ft not as many ,but there are no 15 ft Bolers and I am not saying it is not a Boler ,but then why is there nowhere any materiel or literature on them nowhere and if they were so rare wouldnt the 15ft be snapped up [boom] sold and as for yhe NEW Trillium/ Escape is making the new 13 ft version which is being called an Escape but again there is lots of documentation on this venture I hope it works anyway maybe there will be someone who has some more imfo on this sounds like delicate issue with some people, trust me I owned my Boler for 20 years I love the Boler but it seems after they were sold everything is very vague,Thanks for listening.

Here's a Boler brochure. Anything here to help with the question?

Boler Brochure

I found it at this website Boler RV

And here's one for sale in Quesnel, BC on Craigslist:
Rare 15 ft (1980) Boler, I'll also put it in the Referrals.

Yeh that is the Boler I was looking at to buy and it is still forsale so if it was a Boler 15 ft it would have been gone like that and I seen that brochure from Boler in 1980 but the 1650 and the 175o dont even look like the 17 ft Bolers that are out and the 15ft floorplan isn't even close to the 15ft Boler that is for sale in Quenel anyway thanks for all the help ,I guess that is why i didn,t buy it iether even the owner wasn't really sure if it was Boler ???? I will keep searching but we all know that after Boler first got sold then everything went wierd Oh well they are still Bolers EH....
