We got our Casita 17 LD in November last year and have used both the air and the heat and both are super. Having them both in the ceiling uses less space. Also we have the fantastic fan with a Max Air cover and it's terrific. We tow with a '99 Odyssey and have had no problems. The WDH and sway control make it like pulling your shadow.

Betty,
why are you asking your question here instead of on casitaclub.com ??
Sounds like your question is really a shameless Casita promotion rather than a sincere inquiry... just my observation.

Hi Roger
My thought is that Betty's questions regarding Casitas are fine to ask here. Maybe she doesn't even know about the Casita Club. This Fiberglass RV site has all fiberglass trailers, including Casitas.. and asking any Casita question here is perfectly OK in my book.

Roger,
Initially I agreed with you, but on second thought I suspect Betty will receive an unbiased opinion here. On the Casita Club site no one will consider there are any other FGRV's in existence.

Betty,
Whether be accident or design, IMHO you made the wisest choice.

It is completely appropriate for Betty to ask her question(s) here! We have many, many Casita owners on this site... some of whom don't (have time to) frequent casitaclub.com. I have no idea why anyone would presume Betty's inquiry to be insincere and/or "shameless," and frankly, I'm distressed by this line of "reasoning."

And, rest assured, Betty L. has no connection to the management of this website.

Betty L., your questions are welcome and encouraged here!

Roger L,
I think the lady has every right to post what she did, apparently you don't. You make certain assumptions without checking for what facts are available. Did it occur to you that maybe she never even heard of a Casita forum? You could have asked, but you didn't. A 'shameless Casita promotion?' Do you really think the Casita factory personnel are behind this 'inappropriate' inquiry? Why? Nothing has heretofore been stated which gives any indication that this is true. It seems to me that you see something in her post which just doesn't exist. Is that any sort of basis for saying what you did? Don P.S. I also have been a victim of unwarrented comments, so I do tend to get P.O'd when I see it happen to others.

Water Heater Electronic Ignition

The Electronic Ignition for the water heater is standard equipment for the 13DLX, 16DLX, and 17DLX, optional for all others. (After reading the many recommendations, I'm glad that I order a DLX!!!)

WTH? we cant talk about Casitas on this forum? who knew!

Maybe they are not made with fiberglass after all. Either that, or someone should have been set straight.

But after nine years, it might be pointless.. still, the internet never forgets.

Of course you can, as the rest of the thread soundly affirms.

And in the case of a 9 year old thread, best to let sleeping trolls lie!

Don't know if he is sleeping or not, but he has not posted in over four years...

However, along with a little sarcasm, the point is that the internet does not forgot. One should post with care and thought and that is something worth remembering.
