Looks like a 1940 Ford panel truck, converted to Scamp camper truck.

To me that doesn't look like a truck body mounted in front of the Egg. Rather, it looks like a sedan, either of the two or modoor configerations. I dont' think 40 Ford Trucks had that sort of grill on them. Donna, HAY DONNA!! Can you help here??? LOL.

Whatever it is, I do like the idea/look of this set up.

Yeah Doug that's a 40s Deluxe grill... you can tell from the side pieces on the grill. The standard doesn't have those. The windshield wipers are on the roof on the standard and on the cowl for the deluxe too. This ends your Ford history moment for today

There are a few photos in the Scamp Yahoo group photos folder. It's on a square steel tube chassis with a 4 cyl. Pontiac engine. Says its a coupe.

It was not in running condition when last advertized for sale.

That makes sense with the Scamp/Boler drop floor. There'd be no room for the differential.
