Jeff doesn't know that there are others here on the Board that also own Teardrop trailers. Oops that's right, you guys have a Modernistic/Cub/Modernaire.

Thanks guys.. Since I have you here. Do any of you know of desert teardrop trailers?
If they still sell plans? I'm getting the feeling I may have to ask PayPal to refund my money. I've sent e-mails to desert TD to verify they received my order, and have not received a reply.
I have a Big foot that I really like and going to keep, but I've always wanted to build a TD. If I should be talking to you guys in another way, let me know. I don't want to up set anybody. Thank you.

Gage may know the answer as he is a wealth of knowledge on teardrops and vintage campers. I know Desert Teardrops was manufacturing a copy of the Modernistic a few years ago but haven't heard anything from him lately. Gage??

Thank you Mary and Bob. I sent Gage a message. I think? I'm still new to this.

Jeff, I didn't receive a PM from you but I'll look into Desert Tears for you and get back to you via PM. I heard something about them a few years back but don't want to say until I do some verifying on what I heard.

We still have our Modernistic teardrop. This site is for towable molded fiberglass campers so there won't be much help here. And unfortunately my friend Gage has passed away, so there is a loss of a lot of great information. Probably the best sites for info are tnttt (teardrops and tiny travel trailers) and Tearjerkers, whose site owner also has a Modernistic. Rather than get off on an unrelated topic here, you can PM me for info and I'll help the best I can. Our teardrop was in very bad condition when we bought it, and we spent a lot of time refurbishing it.
