Does anyone know how much the brand new Trillium 1300 were sold for in the 70's? 1977 more specifically?

Thanks

The previous owner of the Trillium 4500 that we use, was the second owner, her dad was the first. She said that it was $6000 when new.

Thanks kootenaigirl.
Raz, i am in the registry, just click on "Registry" under my info at left of this message.

For various reasons i did not get to camp in her this season. Main reason being that i stored my Trill at a friends place over the winter, and a tall tree must have dumped its snow load right on and through my skylight window. Broke the skylight, and water damage ruined the table and some of the shelves and cabinet doors. Carpet was ruined as well. Had to "drain" her, and de-mold her. Am in the (slow) process of making repairs and improvements to the interior. She will be ready to go again next season. Will post pictures when done. I think the most disappointing thing is that i did not get to spend a couple weeks camping in Cavendish PEI this season....i have done that every year since i bought her

I'm assuming that would be Canadian dollars when they were purchased, wonder what the US price would have been

Great looking Trillium. Your cabinet mod is a big improvement on the stock shelves. Most unfortunate about the leak. Hope the repairs go well. Thanks for sharing. Raz

Talking Prices

I have ads from The Winnipeg Free Press of 9 Nov 1968 and 16 Aug 1969 showing a new Boler for $1,695.

Of course it also says the weight is 800#.

Winnipeg Free Press June 7, 1973:
Price: $2095 and 925#.

This is in an ad from a place called Sampson's Trailer City, 2726 Pembina Hwy.

For a good part of the 70's the Canadian dollar flirted with the US, even above par for a while, so the price would have been very close.
I remember going to Mackinac Island and being disappointed that they only took our money at par, not giving the 1 or 2 cents it waas above par
