Wow, I could pull 5 Trill 4500's with that baby, but I have to be happy (and I am ) with my Tacoma.

Hummmmm. I wonder if that has anything to do with Nissan's Titan that's showing up everywhere.

Hmmmm.......a 5.7 V8, which is what we have in our RAM 2500 long box. 14 mpg+/- pulling our Big Foot using 92 octane.

I am a BIG Toyota fan in the compact car sector, but......what too much $$ for what you get and have to pay later in parts in the bigger SUV type vehicles..IMHO

I understand Chrysler is in the planning stages to put a 2.8 ltr 5cyl in line diesel in their light duty trucks.

I wonder if Toyota/Nissan et al has similar plans for their trucks? Or are they available now?

Hi Dan, I meant for the domestic market.

I remember years ago while I was overseas my favourite get-around was a Toyota Hiace 3 speed column shift 4 cyl diesel with sliding doors on both sides! What a concept!

After my wife gets done loading up everything she needs for a camping trip, the Burro has to be close to 10000 lbs.

Hmm, lessee...
4,000 pounds of Lego (required)
500 pounds of little green army men (can be replaced by Transformers on occasion)
50 pounds of Top Dog original (NOT all beef, NOT BBQ size)
50 pounds assorted juice boxes/root beer/lemonade/iced tea

That leaves 5,400 pounds for Scuba Gear, cold white wine, rum-n-coke, and assorted top-tarps, ground-tarps, and extra tarps.

Whew! We're just under the limit!
