Well, has is only about $3.65 here... But I noticed something a little disturbing at a gas stations in PA a while back: The "grade" selection buttons on all of their pumps went (from left to right) mid-grade, regular, premium. So the button on the left was mid-grade! I'm sure a lot of people filled up with mid-grade just because they're used to hitting the left-most button.

Gas went up yesterday here, the new prices range from $3.68 - $3.79. What a crock.

Yup my local station is indeed 5.26 a US gallon today but as Donna says stop the complaining it could be $9.58 a gallon

While I'm not happy filling up the truck with $130 worth of fuel it's not going to change what my family does for kicks! We still have the annual roadtrip planned to Oregon for 2 weeks at Spring Break and 5 weeks to southern Utah again in the summer (can't get enough of that area!!!) and as many weekends as we can cram in camping and dirtbiking in BC. If it adds another $1000 to the years expenses, oh well. We can absorb the hit.

Although 2 or 3 years from now I may not be singing the same tune.

Cheers,

And then folks go into the store and pay $5.00 for 500 ml of designer WATER!
That's $10.00/liter or $37.80 per US Gallon!

.. and the gallon of Goldwasser is $125/gal, sound insane, but this is an equal connection to your comparison. What a Goldwasser drink has to do with fuel.

George.

It amazes me that you can purchase a car delivering 73 mpg highway and 48 mpg city driving in EU but not in NA. There are some mighty forces driving this dilemma.

Just pointing out the irony of people complaining about paying - for example - $3.50 for a gallon of gasoline, but don't complain about paying many times more per ounce for something they can get 'free" out of a tap!
