3- state air pressure table pedestal set

Does anyone have any thoughts, experience, or heard of a Springfield Marine Co. 3-Stage anodized pedestal set (square table mount and base)????

It's a lot more sturdy then the stock 2 leg table, which is the main reason folks go with it. Keep in mind it is not removable like the 2 leg, and for some reason the top is a bit tilted.

3-stage air pressure table pedestal set

Thank you, Bob and Deb, for the reply. We are planning to use the dinette area for a bed during most of our camping trips and thought this would be a lot easier to up and down without having to remove the table top and posts. I wonder why it would be tilted? Do you have it installed and are using it regularly?

Do you know of other options that have the air pressure ease of use?

Silly me? After the discussion of tire pressures and high temps in the "Tire Blowout Question" thread, I thought this was about tire pressures in Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico.

Don't know about a "square base" but the Springfield 3 stage pneumatic pedestal was one of the first mods I installed once I took delivery of our Escape 19 a couple years ago. I would never go back to the stock sockets and poles. The best thing about it is, it allows the table not only to slide, but to rotate. There's also no more table wobble as there was with the poles.

It's now become a very popular option on Escapes, so much so that the factory will install it for you.

Pedestal

Thanks for your information, Robert. Our Escape is a 2013 and we have a level floor not a raised as in your photos. Did you elevate the area under the table to cover the openings of the holes of the original posts? If not, then how did you cover the original post holes?

Robert, forgot to add that the photos were very helpful. Thank you for including them.
