'4 ft itis'

Well the 4 ft itis has been going around here lately and is highly contagious! We couldn't find a vaccine for it, the only cure was a 21 ft Escape! So our beloved Casita went to Greg and Sandy, a wonderful couple from Washington. They hope to join some fiberglass gatherings in the future. Here they are in our driveway. We pick up the new Escape November 7th!

Yes, there seems to be a bit of an epidemic right now! Congratulations and your new Casita owners look thrilled also.

Greg and Sandy acquired a wonderfully appointed trailer. Hope to meet them at a future gathering

Dave & Kathie, have you received any production photos from Escape yet? Exciting times ahead!

Another case here...our 21 footer is scheduled to be ready May 22. We plan to delay picking it up a few days so we can attend the Escape rally in Osoyoos, (and so the weather can warm up a bit).

It's convenient that our son and his family recently moved to Portland, so we can have a nice visit with our grand kids while we go pick up the new Escape.

Got my first photos yesterday for my Nov. 6th delivery. It's just a shell and I thought I wouldn't care much but boy, do I! Everything that is going with me to pick it up is already packed and waiting, even the critter food. (Critters aren't packed)

Took a while but I think I've got it. There will eventually be a U shaped dinette with no table installed (I need the floor space for a dog crate) with folding shelves on each side instead. Also a wardrobe over the drawers instead of a shelf.

I was thinking of perhaps doing the exact same thing in my new 5er, so I'll anxiously await those photos.

Hi Sally,

We pick our Escape up November 7th the day after you. We just got our first pictures (while we were at the Fall Northern Oregon Gathering (NOG). Showed them all around the group!

Wow super nice. Do I understand Escape right that the reflectix in your photos is an option and if a person ordered the standard escape, it comes with just the vinyl against the fiberglass walls? Thanks.

Wow, that oven looks bigger than expected. I was told you only lose one cabinet, looks like you lose more than that. Hopefully mine will work out.

No the reflectix is standard down to the belt line, so to speak, the extra insulation continues it down behind the scenes and includes thermal windows.

Is the belt line the bellyband where the top and bottom mold comes together or is it the reflectix line shown in these photos. Comes about three fourths of the way down, a little above the floor in this thread? The standard escape would have vinyl from here down to the floor and bare fiberglass wheel wells? Thanks.
