This thread got me looking at all the older camp gear and there will be a yard sale in the summer. There's a collection of over 35 fishing poles, just to start with. Camp stoves, lanterns, three tents, cookware, old Coke coolers and a pile of other gear.
Some things can be reused or repurposed.

Hubby Ron still has his Eddie Bauer "lift jacket" purchased in 1962. In subsequent years he's worn it into their flagship store and noticed that he was being followed around by young sales people, who were trying to determine where it came from. Quality is not only quality, it is usually also classic!
