I don't really want a TV for the trailer, but then again, from time to time, I do.
As in, I really wanted to watch the vice-presidential debate...
And, I once left a motel I'd paid for and drove an hour down the road to a motel where I could watch the last episode of Survivor ( Hatch won ). Of course, the company paid for two motel rooms in different towns, but they didn't complain or notice on my expenses.
I've searched London Drugs, Future Shop, The Source, all the logical places, but nobody seems to carry tiny TVs anymore. I can find them on the web, but I'd rather get something from a local dealer. I'm assuming that I will be camped at a place that offers cable hook-up, but I'd be interested to learn more about the alternatives.
An alternative is software to get TV on my laptop. Anybody have experience with this? The problem with that solution is it isn't really my laptop, it belongs to the company, so taking it on vacation is a bit of a risk.
And, then there is the issue of all TV going digital early next year.
So, as you can see, I keep changing the channel, but all I can see is snow.
