5 x 5 vynal post

The Lowes in my area is clearing out their stock of 5 x 5 x 96 vynal posts for $2.50 each. If you need one, you might check the stores in your area.
It makes a good carrier for my collapsable ladder.

Awning or tarp poles are also candidates for post on bumper storage. I think the square shape would attach to the bumper easier than PVC pipe having a flat side.

Vynal? Do you mean vinyl posts?
Anyway, my Lowes has them for $0.75/ea.

I just finished installing a 5"X5" PVC fence post plus two end caps for storage of my RV sewer hose (stinky-slinky) and connectors. The project went well.
I did purchase the materials at my local Lowes in Queensbury, NY and the cost for the 5X5 PVC post was $24.95.

If you are considering such a project note that a 5X5 PVC post will hold the sewer hose and all connectors with room to spare...a 4" round PVC pipe will not fit the connectors...only the hose. The 5"x5" PVC fence post plus end caps is the answer.

Uplander: I agree. Worked perfectly on my Scamp.

I freed the storage area under the seat by taking the shore power cord through the floor and out one of those 5x5 sleeves that is tied underneath. The cord slides in cleanly after folding and holding together with one short strip of velcro. Very happy with that fix.

Is that low(es) price per foot or per piece?

My local Lowes hasn't discounted the price at all. The posts were marked $24.95 so I had a store employee scan the bar code but it still came up at that price.

Even at the higher cost this improvement project is worth every penny.
If you install one don't forget to drill a few drainage holes in the bottom of the 5X5 post to allow for drainage. I also rinse my sewer hose with a bleach/water mix to control bacteria and odors.

I would love to do this mod on the casita but for some reason I cannot find the darn posts up here in Alberta. I checked Lowes, Home Depot and Rona but found only 4 ", Going to check a fence supply company next week.

The 5x5 PVC fence post was one of very few items I bought reciently that was made in the U.S.A. At Lowes it was stacked with the other fencing supplies .

you might want to check with a local fence supplier/installer. chances are they have some scraps they'll sell or give you. 25 bucks is way too much!

Same price here in our part of NY. You are getting a great deal!

I could not find any here in BC either - I ended up picking some up across the line.

When I bought fence kit from Costco it came in 3 10 foot sections with 4 5x5 posts .i now have 10 extra cream colored posts that I would give to any one who wanted to pick them up in the windsor Ont area
