We did full-time for a couple years some time back in a 24 foot stick trailer with a 6.0 cf and had an old Winnebago ages ago with an 8.0 cf which we took on vacation to WDW a couple of times, 3 way and fabulous frig. We spent 3.5 months last summer in our pop-up while house hunting and it had the itty bitty frig and we supplemented the overrun in one of those Coleman things you plug in and used that for fresh vegs & fruit since in the heat they have a limited ability to cool. After I posted this I was thinking, it sounds like eating and sleeping are my only concerns. I appreciate all the comments. I think that I saw photos of all the options of the refrigerators at the Escape website so I'll go there and refresh my memory on how the sizes look inside. The Coleman thermo cooler has been a backup many times even at home when my eyes were bigger than my frig. Ah, fresh berries will soon be on. Thanks again. (Full-timing may include only one person or maybe 2 with a 3rd sometimes.)

The Dometic refrigerator available as an option in the Escape 5.0 & 19 (and probably the new 21) is actually a 6.7 cu ft. Lots of nice features - One interesting thing about it is the freezer can be removed to provide a larger refrigerator section. Unfortunately, it will not fit in the Escape 17.

Here is a link to it at Camping World. If you are considering one, Camping World only stocks the right hand door; a left hand door is available on special order. The doors are not reversible.

It is tall, but narrow. Fits through an Escape door. I know that when Reace started looking for a replacement for the 5 cu ft refrigerator they were using, finding one narrow enough was one of the problems. This is a European version that is made with narrow doors in mind...

Jon: Thank you for the Camping World link. I was glad to see that it was a 3-way frig as that is my preference over just the 2-way. I have noticed that comparing a house-type frig with an RV frig that you can get more in the RV frig because it is so better planned out. Went from a 6 cf to a household 12 cf at one time and I swear I could get more in the RV frig.
