"A Good Egg"

I listen to a music collection that spans decades. I took my vinyl albums from the 60's and 70's and digitized the music. One of my favorites to hear come around on my MP3 random play is Leo Kotke.

So I'm on the way to work Thursday and hear a Leo Kotke instrumental come up. I look and see the song is "A Good Egg."

I figured it appropriate to post it here for your enjoyment. A good egg.

I don't recall ever hearing his name before, but he sure knows how to play.

He has a great voice as well. Just go to YouTube and type in Leo Kotke. Music for the ages. Great stuff.

Leo was the Master of the 12-string Guitars............caught a couple of his concerts on stage in 1975-76.

you must be a spring chicken, Mike M - most of us baby boomers were great Kottke fans!

Thank you for sharing this. I wasn't familiar with him but this is really pleasant. Off to Amazon to get some of his tunes.

Yes, I am an old Hippie, and still listen to Leo Kottke, have a ton of his music and his teacher's music. Great guitarists.
