Ahh, yes. This morning the alarm went off and I groaned out something base and irrational at the alarm clock as I rolled out of bed like a log. Before long I had eaten square meal and was functioning more like my usual self. I worked out the complex problem of how to integrate all the things I needed to do into my day and looked at the frightening state of my investments. (I knew it was a statistical probablity when I invested in derivatives, but didn't factor in the effects of a negative economy into the equation.) I fought the urge to check the stock market, knowing the news might push me beyond my limits and send me down to the root cellar for some Wine.

So I went to work. Alas, the radio station I listen to was talking politics. The Republicans were being very negative about the Obama budget, complaining it was all imaginary numbers. This infinite bickering based on political theories is a zero-sum game. Why can't the Republicans and Democrats find some common denominator and act like rational human beings?

I poured a little blue packet of Equal into my coffee and decided we need a new political party in this country, one that understands people have a finite patience for bickering like this.

It was then I realized the solution to all these odd problems! Like a good writer I'll write a book about it, but you'll have to read it all the way through, because the answers will be at the end of the book.

Because, at bottom, they are all politicians, with more in common with each other than with us....
