So did you notice the Webguy added a map at the top of the page on the main menu of the forum? The buttons look like this across the top of the page:

STORE | FGRV Map | ALBUMS | FORUMS | HOME

Just click on the "FGRV Map" to see the locations of people on this site. Roll your mouse over the little people icons to see who lives there or click on one of the names in the list on the right side of the page. Make sure to add your own name, location and even a photo!

It won't let me add my place.

Is there a sacred chant I need to say, or what?

I'm okay: I fed my fibreglass this afternoon, all is right with the world.

I love the map and so simple to add people and locations.

I like the idea of the map but it immediately sent me an email so I removed my entry (hopefully permanent). The map on the Casita Club forum doesn't enroll you in a service or generate junk mail or give you a password. That's the last thing I need.

The site sends an email to confirm that you signed up and that no one else is using your email address. I have not gotten junk emails from them. You might try it again.

Hmmm. For background info, see Gigi's topic on "Frappr".

As a memeber of another group that's used frapper for a few months that conformation email is only one I've received from them. I appreciated that one, it confirmed that I had put my name of the map. It also told me, as Nancy said, that they'll let me know if somebody tries to use my email address when placing a name.

Not to worry.

After grumbling about my zip code putting the marker in the cemetery, I dragged it around to my actual house. (Using the Hybrid setting and zooming the maximum. No trailer in the back yard. The picture must be pre-2002, or else I'm out camping at the time.) Later I decided that perhaps that was too much information in the public domain. Therefore, I opted to continue to rest peacefully in the cemetery.

I just clicked into the frapper map. Thought I'd add mine but have decided not to.
When I click on a name it shows where you live and if I zoom in I have a map to your house. Then I watch this forum and waite for you to tell me your going on holidays and empty out the place.
I think it's safer not to give that info to strangers.

If you don't put in your exact street address, it only zooms in on the zip code, with the marker in the center point of the geographic area. The cemetery, it seems, is the center of the universe for that zip code.

I have checked on everyone who is on the map whose house I have been to, and none of the markers fall directly on thier address.

THOSE are the places I can be sure of robbing when they say they are gone.

Personally, I am after Freds garden shed. I wish he would scoots so I can nab it!

Mabee I'm getting paranoid in my retirement years. Don't like to give out too much info. It's just the way I see it. 100 years from now it won't matter at all..
