Additional Screen Room Ideas?
I have an ~9ft awning that came with used 1996 scamp. I know that it has a broken support bar in it. When weather turns warm I will attach and try and order new part. Looking to see pics of some additional screen rooms people use. I have several ez-up style but the stow away size does not seem practical for storing in a scamp. If you have a system that works well to keep rain off and stores well please include pic or brand name.
Thanks
Dan

The clam has one drawback with it. The length is long, I think 60". I have a 16` scamp and I leave it in the trailer while towing b/c i have a small Rav4. When I have to stay over for a one nighter or a rest period I move it out of the trailer and put it on the Rav4 roof rack and lash it down, then I take it in the camper when I am on the move again. If you have a pickup then your set. Other then that we love our Clam. Carl

We have the Clam Traveler Shelter and it fits nicely in our PL closet standing on end. Set up it is 72 x 72 x 82 and packed it is 53 x 7 x 7 (20 lbs) as opposed to its larger cousin 72 x 8 x 8 (34 lbs)

Screen room
Clam, Clam, Clam. We love ours. At $250 for a 12X12 that almost sets up itself this thing rocks. With the panels and a small heater it stays toasty on chilly days...not on cold days...just the chilly ones, which is about all we have here in Northwest Florida thank goodness.

Looks like a great screen room
Googled the Clam 1660 looks like a great screen room. Have seen the ice fishing Clams. Looks like the same premise. I know the ice fishing clams are built to take some heavy duty winds and abuse. Not too much smaller than the ez-up's I have but looks way easier to set up. Thanks for the heads up. Like the idea of the small awning and then the clam screen room off to the side.
Thanks
Dan
