Advice needed: Cork roll on walls in fiberglass RV , good idea?

Has anybody used cork on the walls of their fiberglass RV, what is your experience and/or advices about it?
I'm considering replacing the old shaggy carpet of our 1984 16ft casita with a light color cork (the roll type not the tiles or plank) since it act as a phonic insulation and thermal I thought if would be a "all in one" type of covering but I am no professional and would appreciate any insight. Thanks!

Trying to push sheet cork, of any useful thickness for both sound and temp insulation, into the compound curves on the inside of most FGRV's would, no doubt, lead to some appearance issues. If you have to use cork, I would suggest considering cork tiles as they can be cut and formed as needed and redo's won't be a disaster.

Laying the cork around corners could require some fancy cutting, but otherwise it seems like it would work (in my uninformed opinion).

I must agree with Mr. Miller... Fitting cork into an egg's compound curves would be very difficult -- I'd say, near impossible. "Un-backed" cork does flex to some degree, but can easily break. For a good look, the accuracy of your geometry, and the sharpness of your cutting tools, must be extremely ...acute.
