Coming home from a meditation retreat today we stopped just North of Powassan, Ont and there was a rough boler for sale 3200 bucks and a green strange looking fiberglass unit with AERFLOW (I may be mispelling this now)built right in the mold under the rear window. Couldn't find any other distinguishing features. Through the window the dinette/bed was in the rear and the stove burnners were just under the front window. Didn't look like there was any other bunks other that the one rear one. Could only view through the front window and the unit was locked. Any thoughts on this what type or make this is?? I will try to get some good pics. Paddy

Very interesting, Paddy.

A little research sent me in a couple of different directions, however I think this last one just might have been the one you saw. Unfortunately, it seems to be a dead end.

"I have just purchased an old fibreglass Aeroflo camper by Polyfiber, made in Renfrew, Ontario. It is possibly a Model 8 and was built in the '60s. I was wondering if any of your readers could give me more details or information on it."

I found it HERE.

So here's some pics of the Aer-Flo.
There's also a 17 foot boler beside it in need of TLC, he's asking 6500 bucks.

I checked the next six issues (one year) of letters to RV Times, and found no further references to "aero" anything, so I don't think the original letter received an answer from anyone. I'm not surprised, since the RV Times is read mostly in Western Canada, and the trailers (assuming that they were made in Ontario) must be especially rare out here.

Information is good. Lack of information is not so good, but misinformation is much worse. Check facts, and apply common sense liberally.

Hi Paddy, i picked up an Aer-Flo model 13R last summer. Mine has big raised lettering also under back window and raised seashells on the wall interior under the back window. Table makes double bed sofa under front window makes bunks and on the side between two windows is the stove and sink etc. I love mine and if your looking for an easy towing trailer the one you found you should grab right away.

Hey great find. We found a 74 Aer-Flo last august in Mira, Cape Breton. We purchased and are searching for info regarding it. Appreciate info if you find out more about its history. I love mine it is simply the best find ever. Also, I do think they are very rare indeed. My egg is original no updating only paint and curtains etc. Funny, the stove is green that came in it so it may have been green originally.
