Aerogel insulation and Cryogel with integral vapour barrier

I am wondering if anyone has experience or knowledge of Aerogel insulation and Cryogel insulation. Cryogel Z is an insulation blanket with an integral vapour barrier. Would this be a alternative to ensolite and other foam insulation and would the vapour barrier be sufficient to have as an interior surface in our trailers.

Well, I found loose Aerogel on the Interwebs for about $50 a gallon and a 12" x 12" sheet 5 mm thick for $30. Yes, this stuff would be pretty good insulation but the cost seems still a bit prohibitive.

I read an article on Aerogel sheets last year. Amazing properties, over r10 per inch. However, I think it was quoted at about $2 a square foot, which puts it out of reach for most of us.
