As far as I know the only place you can get power at Lake Mead is the RV Resort. None of the Recreation Area campgrounds have hook-ups.
That's something to think about. You can only use AC at night where there are at least power hook-ups. The biggest percentage of campgrounds that don't have power don't allow overnight generator use, generators off by 10 pm.

Air conditioning is a must for us. I am a glamper and have to have my amenities. Our air conditioner also heats and can almost handle the heat we need when we have been out volunteering on Pine Ridge Reservation in March. We always camp with power.
