Yep, Airstream purchased Nest from Robert Johan's, a member here on FiberglassRV. New fiberglass player.....Airstream!

We were privileged here to read along as Robert was developing this trailer: Introducing Nest Caravans

If you have HOUR'S TO KILL and enjoy internet chat you can read 62+ pages and growing of opinions about the new Airstream Fiberlgass trailer on "Airforums" with many just complaining about this "New" Airstream product.

In some threads it is amusing to read about the enthusiasm owner's have for their "Silver Bullitt" all the while complaining about the same problems an Airstream trailer has enjoyed for 60+ years without change or a "Fix" from Airstream. An Airstream IS one product that "They still build it like they used to"!

The Airstream bunch (Owner's & the Manufacturer) tend to be a MUCH older group of folks who have not embraced the current RV trend that "Smaller & Better Design Is Better". Lot's of reading in the Airforum's thread that can be entertaining.

I just sold my 1958 Airstream World Traveller (1 of 4) last month. Another "Egg" convert!

Enjoy!

Mike, I read a number of pages of the Airstream thread. Extremely interesting and worth reading.
