Alaska Craigslist rarities (= scam?)

An unusual occurrence up here... we just had a Scamp and a Burro both show up on Craigslist. Both are under $2000. If you live up north, or are looking for a great excuse for an Alaskan roadtrip, this might just be it!

The Scamp is in Alaska, but the seller is in Florida and the Burro ad has some very unusual description spellings. Both are potential red flags for a possible scammer. BE CAREFUL HERE.

One is posted all over Craigslist across the US (mostly flagged for removal.) https://anchorage.craigslist.org/rvs/5734030680.html The weird spellings are so you can't search on the words to bring up the identical posts but I went to adhuntr.com and found them easily. Adhuntr is a good place to search all of Craigslist when something looks like a scam.

Weird spelling? Not to the person who wrote it at least. Seeing that fKACA as the first word in the heading and description ought to be enough of a clue that it is someone who is not the kind of person you would want to buy from. What it is saying as an abbreviation is not something any legitimate seller would say to a potential buyer. We know what the "f" stands for and we know what the second part means as well just by sounding it out.

That email in the image is also a fraud clue. It's hixden crom search engines that way. When I was looking, that email donna(xxx) at gmail format was on dozens of ads that I flagged.
All brands of trailers listed around $2000

Yes... I see about the burro. Too bad. The Scamp sounds genuine, though. Probably rough inside, but almost worth a look just for an excuse to visit Talkeetna.

Same Burro in Utah. She would send it to me COD in Ky since she had already paid for shipping. Wow...didn't really need but for $1500, I couldn't pass up. Too bad a scam. Figured that out but googling 1999 Burro

The number of scam ads DW and I have flagged is unreal. I struggle with wanting those parasites charged with a capital crime along with identity thieves.

Strong feelings......Who, me?

The scammer only has to fleece a couple of people per month to make a nice living.
