Allstays app on Android
I know they are no longer updating it on Android - but is it still working for anybody? The basic app comes up - campgrounds can be filtered/selected as usual but clicking on "Website" for the relevant campground does nothing. This happens on campgrounds that we have previously viewed their websites by this method.
So, is it bust generally - or just for us? I recall we paid $10 for it maybe a year ago - Do I need to pony up another $10?
I can find no about/account/update button......

I just checked, the "Website" link works to me. In recent android versions http links from applications are not opening immediately, but you're getting an on screen notification that the "tab saved in <the web browser you use>" with a prompt to open the link right now. The notification disappears after a few seconds.

It seems to be working correctly on my Android Tablet. It's been several years since I purchased it. As others, I'm disappointed that they quit supporting it but I understand the reasoning. I was hoping they would find a different mapping app as some other android app providers have done,

Allstays also works on my tablet though the reviews are dated. I've been using RV Parky. It's free, and seems to be current.

I just down loaded the Allstays app on our iPhone and personally I'm not too happy with it, for $10 I would not do it again, can I get my money back.

What don't you like about AllStays? As to the reviews, I always go to the link to the "web Review Search" which eventually finds rvparkreviews, what I consider the most useful campground review site.
I use AllStays and, when I'm looking for non commercial campgrounds, The Ultimate Public Campground list, both on iOS.

The Allstays app still works on my Android and I rely heavily on it.
I dread the next time I'm forced to upgrade my phone because I'll likely lose access.
The UPC list looks interesting and I need to look at it more closely.
On the Allstays web site I see the following
Because of the unexpected change, I can do a $10 credit on Pro. If you want to try AllStays Pro, the web browser version that runs on computers and mobiles and has a lot more updated information than the app had, send a email from inside the app or your Play receipt, with "Android to Pro" at the top of text, to apps at allstays.com.
I don't know what to do with that. Does it mean I can still purchase it, and how? anyone know?

Parkadvisor
WE use an app [on our iphones] called PARKADVISOR (all caps)
It is simple and it puts a little "camper+tent+tree" incon on yer phone.
You click on the icon and the app opens, showing a satellite map of US/Canada and YOUR bsic location... You can switch to a "road map" by clicking the lower right symbol and also go to its settings to filter stuff in or out, like Walmarts, fuel stops, restaurants, COE, Cracker Barel etc.
As you put the cursor on an area..then you "home into the area" closer and closer..ie make scale smaller..the various campsites appear as little tent or koa or COE or state parks incons on the map.
We use it to plan routes and get info to calll ahead for reservations, bks we hate driving around LOOKING for camps w empty sites.
G'luck ;-)
I suspect it works on android phones too, but I do not know.
