I was wondering if other members often see a neglected egg. It'd be fun to bring them home and have FGRV rescue facility and re-home them. I guess that's not a reality.
Since I've been a boleraholic (less than a year) I've seen several of these neglected beasts sitting in a field, lot or yard.
My most recent was today. Probably an early seventies, judging by the orange colour, 13'
boler. Half covered by a tarp that was weighed down with rope and milk jugs full of water. It had a good growth of algae/moss on it and
tires looked in rough shape. Definitely not it's first or even it's second season sitting under the tarp.
I wouldn't post it here and be responsible for looky-loos or repetitive and perhaps unwanted interest but to see it rot is a shame. Especially when I know how hard they are to come by and how fast they sell, regardless of condition.
