That's because everything is remote controlled. Ya know the do-hicky that runs the A/C, that deploys the TV antenna and backup camera... that turns on the BATH TOWEL WARMER!!

Maureen: see what kind of surreal universe you have entered!

Roger used to have a 17' Burro. Sold it, and has been on a regret trip ever since. He does touch on one of the unique benefits of the double-hulled Burros: easy to wire.

And Roger: I am conscious of weight and always try to compensate when I add something. Why, the other day I removed some of the vinyl striping I had put on some time ago.

Actually everyone, I believe Maureen has likely gotten the message that her Burrito is somewhat of a bargain.

Sadly, Per is right! I really do miss the Burro...

Roger

Bogus. I never use those twisty-dohickeys. And especially not yellow ones.

I always weld the connections. Then wrap them in several layers of electrical tape, then heatshrink tubing.
Very heavy but reliable.

Donna, that is SO yesterday. Wait 'til I show you the latest remote-controlled fan. Touchscreen. Backlit.

Maureen, this is not something to be emulated.

Well, you all have quite the group here. I am quickly finding out.

I have a few more questions.

Are original parts available anywhere?

Are the trailers worth more original or modified? I have been pondering laminant floor.

I have noticed weakness in the floor right by the door, repair ideas? I have some angle iron and was thinking I could attach it to either side of the frame below the door, good idea or not?

Also the original water pump is gone and a faucet hooked to the city water feed, they have disconnected the water tank entirely. just left the lines so that is no biggy, simple enought to route so I may just go ahead and buy new water line.

I need to find a hand pump. New? or Should I search for original?

If I need to go to a different forum for these questions somebody redirect me.

Maureen,

We have a section a little higher up called:
"[b]Problem Solving -- Owners Helping Owners
Share your problems, concerns, fixes of Molded Fiberglass Trailers."

That would be a good place to ask your questions. If you ask one question at a time, New Topic for each, it makes searching later easier and the entire thread can stay on topic. Well we hope.

OK, Pete... quit funnin' us. I KNOW that's not Per's wiring. His is much better than that. Why... I don't see a single weld in that nest.

Cat heater: The heater is controlled by a circuit board at the bottom; you might try pulling and reconnecting the four electrical connectors at the lower left corner of the board. I suspect they get a bit of corrosion on them, and disconnecting/reconnecting them might help scrape some corrosion off the pins.

Oh I get it now, this is the leak test for the burro.

Got a couple, 2 small drips by back window and one at the vent. I am already pondering a fantastic fan so I have to pull it anyhow.

I am thinking I should pull the inside trim from the back window and check the integrity of the seal from there? Any suggestions?
