An update from Lil Snoozy Land

An update from the Lil Snoozy land!

First I want to thank the members of FGRV for your unbelievable support. We are extremely grateful to all who have offered their support, opinions and criticism.
Things have been going very well around “Lil Snoozy Ville”, I am happy to report that the winter “off season” has provided us with a wonderful time to prepare and tremendously increase production. With the addition of multiple new molds and numerous new techniques, we have not only increase production but also increased the quality of our craftsmanship. (That is always a good thing!) It is a very exciting time around the plant these days!! We have had few shows the past few weeks, our next show will be in Hampton VA from Friday March 8 to Sunday March 10. If you are in the area please stop in and say hey.

This winter has also given us time to design and build a new floor plan. We have had numerous suggestions about offering a twin bed floor plan. You spoke, we listened! Lil Snoozy now offers a twin bed floor plan! I have attached a picture twin bed FP and also a picture of the newly designed generator cover. Check Small Travel Trailer: Camper: Smoakin Concepts Composites for more pictures.

To start off the camping season we have a wonderful promotion. Since the members of this forum have been so superb, I want give this deal to FGRV first. Due to some lucky circumstances, we will be giving (YES GIVING) the Honda EU2000 generator package with every Lil Snoozy purchased and picked up in the month of March. Let me restate that, the Honda EU2000 generator, fiberglass tongue cover, and the newly designed fiberglass generator cover will be added to any and all Lil Snoozys delivered in March, all at no additional charge. That is a $1,300 value!!!

As always, we all thank you for your continued support and opinions. I hope to see some of ya'll in Virginia next weekend.

Good on you guys, Nicholas. Great to see another company that focuses on the customer too, along the line of what Escape Trailer does. I wish you great success.

I bet that makes the trailer feel bigger, having the walkway between the twins. What is the bed width? Looks like maybe 30"?

I can't help it. That generator cover looks like somebody left a sewing machine on the tongue. The hard edges don't work for me up against the rounded lines of the trailer.

Stick a "Singer" decal on it and call it done.

Its an interesting idea, but needs some trim and more windows. One of the things I liked about the snoozy was the Gypsy Vardo'ness of it. Door on the rear and bed across the width of the back, and the way he had the wood around the opening for the bed...could easily hang a curtain for bed privacy. The wood added something to the look of it.

Now I agree the 2 separate beds would have a plus, they should offer a board to drop in place and filler cushions to make it a giant bed... snuggle time lol.

But the inside of the trailer looks kind of bland to me now. Needs some trim to jazz it up!

The lesson is winter sales are bad and you can probably get one if these campers, with or without a generator, for $700 less in Feb or March.

I think the generator box looks fine, except I am sure it must be left off while running. A box that could be left on would make a quiet generator even quieter.

Now, who wants to live full time in northern Canada in a little snoozy?

It appears that the generator box is just meant to be set on the tongue. I don't see any mechanism to secure it to the platform, so maybe it's destined to be where the generator is. Leaving the cover on while the generator is running would be quieter, but probably not very good for cooling the generator.
